Ready to air

Features driven by real data, ready to go straight on air

What this page is for

Ready to air mode produces features whose content changes every day, because the AI looks up real data online at the moment of generation. You write nothing: you give the subject and the length, and the script and audio are built for you.

Creating a ready-to-air feature

  1. Open Creation › Ready to air: the table lists the available types, the latest production of each and the Create, Schedule and History buttons.
  2. Click Create on the row for the type you want.
  3. Fill in the main field (town, sport, genre…) and, if you wish, the Station name.
  4. Tick or untick Say the time and Say the presenter's first name (both are on by default).
  5. Optionally add Sources to consult: URLs the AI will read as a priority.
  6. Choose the Target length: 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 seconds or 2 minutes.
  7. Set up the audio: Voice (required for sound), Intonation and Music bed.
  8. Click Generate the script to read it through first, or Generate script and audio to do it all at once.
Tip : Generate the script uses no audio credits. Use it to check what the AI has found before paying for the voice.

Check and correct before airing

After generation, the Generated script (editable) area lets you correct a figure, a proper noun or a turn of phrase, then run Generate the audio again. Once the sound is ready you get Download, Regenerate and a With music bed / Voice only toggle.

Warning : The content comes from a web search: always read it through before putting it on air, particularly proper nouns, scores and times.

Your preferences are remembered

Town, station name, voice, intonation, music bed, sources and the “say the time / say the first name” boxes are saved automatically at every generation and offered again next time. A daily feature can then be relaunched in two clicks.

Going automatic

The Schedule button takes you to the Scheduling page, which does all this on its own, at the times you set, without you ever opening SpeakRadio.

Credit cost

The cost is based on the target length you chose: around 10 credits for 30 seconds, 20 credits for a minute, 40 credits for two minutes.

Good to know : An active subscription is required. The subject is mandatory for weather, news, sport and cinema; it is optional for the horoscope and on this day.
