What this page is for
An audio edit joins several elements you have already produced — a jingle, a voice track, a feature, a music bed — end to end to make a single file ready to air. The Audio edits page lists your exports; the New edit button opens the editor.
Building an edit
- Click New edit.
- Drag the Available elements onto the Timeline, in the order you want.
- Check the Total length shown under the timeline. The Clear button starts again from scratch.
- Set the export options, then click Generate the MP3 file.
Export options
- MP3 file title
- Audio quality: High quality or Very high quality
- Transition between elements: None (straight cut), Crossfade or Fade to silence, with a duration in seconds
- Normalise the volume: evens out the levels between elements
Tip :
Turn normalisation on whenever you mix elements from different sources: without it, an imported jingle will often swamp the voice produced by SpeakRadio.
Finding your edits
The list shows the title, the length, the status and the creation date. You can filter by title and by status (Completed, Running, Pending, Failed).
Good to know :
An edit can only be played and downloaded once its status is Completed. While it is still running, the action icons stay greyed out.
Cost
An edit costs 2 credits, whatever its length.
