What this page is for
A voice track is a presenter link dropped between two songs: a song intro, a transition, a traffic or weather update, a show trail. It is what stops automated dayparts sounding like a jukebox.
Step by step
- Click New voice track.
- Enter the Title (for example “8am breakfast show intro”).
- Choose the Voice, the Intonation and, if you wish, a Music bed.
- Write the script, or use Generate with AI.
- Click Generate the voice track, listen, then download.
The script generator
The AI window offers three fields:
- Link type: Song intro, Transition, Traffic/weather update, Show trail
- Context (optional): “Monday breakfast show”, “late evening”, the song that has just played…
- Tone: Energetic, Relaxed or Warm
On-air tips
- Keep it short: 8 to 20 seconds is almost always enough.
- Talk to one person, never to a crowd.
- Alternate voices and intonations to avoid listener fatigue.
- Avoid precise time references if the voice track will be repeated.
Tip :
Produce a run of voice tracks in one go for a whole daypart: you keep the tone consistent and you save time.
